Tata Power MD and CEO Praveer Sinha said the company expects the demand for power to increase by 10% in India in 2023. "Power is the basic ingredient for development of any country...and this kind of growth is not being seen globally," Sinha stated. He added that India has seen "phenomenal" growth of renewables in the last 5 years.
