On National Dengue Day 2026, Dr Amol Jaybhaye, an infectious diseases expert, suggested ways to prevent dengue. He urged people to deter mosquito breeding sites by cleaning water coolers weekly, covering storage containers, preventing water accumulation in pots and trays, cleaning drains and rooftops regularly, clearing stagnant water at construction sites and frequently changing pet water bowls.
