A painless lump in your mouth might just be a harmless bump like a salivary cyst or Fordyce spot, but it can also be a sign of oral cancer if it persists or grows. Dr Jayesh recommends evaluation if it doesn't go away in a few weeks because mouth cancers often start without pain.
