Explosion of Blaze Star to be visible from Earth in once-in-a-lifetime event

The star system called T Coronae Borealis or Blaze Star, which is 3,000 light-years away from Earth, is due for explosion. When it will erupt, it will be visible through Earth to the naked eye at about the same brightness as the North Star. It will be a once-in-a-lifetime event as it happens once every 80 years, as per astronomers.
