Extend Indian stock trading hours, rest of world trades for 16 hrs: BSE chief
Trading hours for the stock market should be extended and brought at par with the time slot for trading on the commodity markets, said BSE CEO Ashish Chauhan. He said the commodity markets trade for 15 hours every day whereas trading in the stock market stops at 3:30pm. Chauhan added the rest of the world trades for nearly 16 hours.
