An appeals court in the US has rejected former Theranos executive Ramesh 'Sunny' Balwani's bid to remain free while he contests his conviction. He has been ordered to start his nearly 13-year prison sentence (155 months) on April 20. Balwani was convicted last year of fraud and conspiracy for his role in Theranos' blood-testing hoax along with Founder Elizabeth Holmes.
