Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav criticised the UP government over the alleged hundreds of kilometres-long traffic jam on roads leading up to Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. He said, "Due to the traffic jam, no food grains, vegetables...medicines, petrol...[are available]." "The condition of millions of hungry, thirsty and tired devotees stuck in Prayagraj...is getting worse every hour," he added.
