Former US President George Bush, a Republican, said he has spoken to President-elect Joe Biden, a Democrat, to congratulate him on his victory in the US election. "American people can have confidence that this election was fundamentally fair...and its outcome is clear," he added. He further said President Donald Trump has the right to request recounts and pursue legal challenges.
