India rejects Edward Snowden's asylum request

American whistleblower Edward Snowden’s request for political asylum has been turned down by India. The US has warned not to give asylum to Snowden, who is currently in Moscow and has sought asylum in 20-countries including India and China. Snowden had revealed that the Indian Embassy in the US, among others, was being spied upon by the NSA.
