Foodtech unicorn Rebel Foods, which houses brands like Oven Story, Behrouz Biryani and Faasos, has laid off around 2% of its workforce. The firm said that any changes in employee strength are on account of "annual performance evaluation and realigning the organisation" to its priorities for future goals. In 2022, Rebel Foods reportedly raised ₹225 crore in three debt rounds.
