Facebook and Instagram's parent company Meta has launched a new product called 'Meta Verified'. It's a subscription service that lets users verify their accounts with a government ID, get a blue badge and get extra impersonation protection against accounts claiming to be them. "Meta Verified starts at $11.99/month on the web or $14.99/month on iOS," Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said.
