Facebook has been sued in the US for allegedly spying on Instagram users through the unauthorised use of their mobile phone cameras. Instagram's use of the camera is done for the purpose of collecting "lucrative and valuable data on its users that it would not otherwise have access to", Instagram user Brittany Conditi alleged in the lawsuit.
