The American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan filed a complaint against Detroit police alleging it arrested a Black man in January based on false face recognition match. It said the technology police used incorrectly matched the security footage against driver's license of Robert Williams and marked him as suspect of a robbery. ACLU added the technology "can't tell Black people apart".
