Despite LI4 documented analgesic and autonomic effects, no peer-reviewed clinical evidence supports its role in reviving cardiac arrest patients. Immediate CPR and defibrillation remain the only life-saving interventions. Acupressure may aid symptom relief but cannot substitute for evidence-based emergency cardiac care.
