Most mass school shootings in US aren't committed by transgender persons, contrary to a claim that surfaced following the recent shooting at a Georgia high school that killed four people. Transgender individuals represent less than 1% of perpetrators in all mass shootings over the past decade, and about 2% involved in school shootings, according to The Gun Violence Archive (GVA).
