A video falsely claiming to show Ratan Tata's last public appearance before his death on October 9 is circulating online. The Quint has confirmed that the clip predates August 2023, when Tata was honoured with Udyog Ratna award. More recent public appearances from 2024 were found on Tata's social media, including posts with Assam CM Himanta Sarma and Sachin Tendulkar.
