A misleading report claiming that as per government's new rule, passengers with waitlisted tickets can no longer travel in reserved train coaches has surfaced online. The government clarified that the report was misleading and that such passengers were never allowed to travel in these coaches. They could only travel in general coaches if they had waitlisted counter tickets, it added.
