Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) did not find that US' Pentagon spent $600 million on sushi, despite social media posts online, a fact-check found. A parody account showed a statement wrongly attributed to Musk and it claimed to detail federal spending uncovered by DOGE. The official DOGE account on X, however, did not share any such post.
