Maha CM Fadnavis visits drought-hit areas, vows aid to farmers

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis visited drought-affected Latur and Dharashiv on Wednesday, meeting distressed farmers facing crop failures, water and fodder scarcity. He said the government will provide relief across the board, ordered damage assessment panchnamas, and promised the first relief order by Saturday. Latur and Dharashiv received only 50% of normal rainfall and 17 districts face severe deficits.
