Google and Apple have removed several fraudulent apps disguised as trading platforms from their app stores that were targeting people in pig butchering scam. These apps lured people by using social engineering tactics to gain their trust and offering high investment returns. The apps, built using the UniApp framework, also had the capability to mimic various crypto and trading platforms.
