Cyber Crime unit of Delhi Police have arrested 17 persons for their alleged connection in running a fake call centre and cheating people based in US and Canada of over ₹8 crore. Police said that they cheated unsuspecting people on the pretext of providing technical support after sending pop-ups that their devices have been hacked and infected with virus.
