Cyber fraudsters created a fake Facebook account in the name of Bengaluru Electronic City DCP M Narayana and advertised household items at throwaway prices to cheat buyers. Around seven people reportedly lost ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 each in recent days. Police have registered an FIR and urged the public to verify online sellers before making payments.
