After reports stated that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) had been disbanded, the department denied the claims and called it "fake news". "We’ll be back in a few days with our regularly scheduled Friday update," it said on X. "Just last week, DOGE terminated 78 wasteful contracts and saved taxpayers $335M," it added.
