Fake rhino horn made from horse hair in bid to reduce poaching

Oxford University and China's Fudan University researchers have developed a way to create fake rhino horns out of horse hair. The researchers did so in a bid to end poaching of rhinos, whose horns are believed to increase sexual desires and behaviour as per Chinese medicine. The researchers described the artificial horn as "confusingly similar" to real rhino horn.
