Fake tenders worth ₹500 crore issued for Nashik Kumbh Mela

Fake offline tenders worth an estimated ₹400 - ₹500 crore were allegedly issued in Nashik in the name of the Kumbh Mela, including tenders for various supplies and police-related materials. Fraudulent work orders were also reportedly created using the names of Nashik Municipal Commissioner Dr Pravin Gedam and Kumbh Mela Commissioner Singh.
