A Karnataka woman lost ₹4,000 to a fake priest promising VIP darshan at Varanasi's Kashi Vishwanath Temple during the Sawan rush. After the accused vanished, police swiftly traced him, recovered the money and returned it. Inspector Shivakant Mishra also ensured the family completed their pilgrimage without any further trouble.
