After a report accused Adani Group of committing a major coal scam, the conglomerate refuted the claim, calling it "false and baseless". The report said Adani Group bought 'low-grade' Indonesian coal and sold it to Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) as high-quality coal. The company stated that all supplied coal is tested for quality at the receiving plant.
