A family in Surat accidentally immersed ₹2 lakh in a canal along with puja offerings after a religious ritual. Firefighters from the Dumbhal Fire Station launched a search operation and successfully recovered the cash from the water. Two fire brigade personnel were injured during the operation, while the relieved family thanked the team.
