The family of Sanjay Kumar, who died after an air ambulance crash in Jharkhand's Chatra, had borrowed ₹8 lakh to hire the aircraft. They reportedly borrowed money from relatives and friends to fund his private treatment in Delhi. Sanjay had suffered critical burns last Monday due to an electrical short circuit. All 7 onboard were killed in the crash.
