An idol of actor Ram Charan, put up by fans ahead of the release of 'Peddi', has been criticised for hurting the sentiments of Sanatana Dharma. It also invited trolling, with many pointing out that it looked nothing like Ram. Film producer Siva Cherry defended the fans, saying, "The focus should be on the emotion and dedication behind it."
