Farah Khan requests tika on hand, video sparks debate

Filmmaker Farah Khan sparked online debate after a video showed her requesting that a traditional welcome tika be applied to her hand instead of her forehead. Many social media users defended her personal choice, saying cultural gestures should respect individual preferences. Some also noted that Hindu traditions recognise applying tika to body parts other than the forehead, including the hands.
