A farmer in Noida received nearly ₹15 crore as compensation after the government acquired his land for the construction of Noida International Airport, The Indian Express reported, citing a person. The farmer has bought a helicopter and is now planning to go to Thailand, the person added. The first phase of the airport was launched by PM Narendra Modi today.
