Farmers burn AAP symbol over Jhota justice demand

Activists of All India Kisan Sabha and Vegetable Growers Farmers Organisation burnt a broom, AAP's election symbol, at Nawan Pind near Jandiala Guru, Amritsar, on Sunday. The protest demanded justice for anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota, accusing the Punjab government of ignoring the Action Committee's demands. Leaders warned AAP would face political consequences in upcoming elections.
