Farmers in Punjab began a sit-down protest on Saturday over delays in paddy procurement and penalties imposed due to stubble burning. This comes as neighbouring Delhi's air quality remained poor. BKU's Rakesh Tikait said, "Tell me about the technology by which wheat can be grown without stubble. The government should tell what should a farmer do about stubble."
