Fast walking for 15 minutes a day cuts early death risk by 20%: Study

A new study published in American Journal of Preventive Medicine found that fast walking as little as 15 minutes a day is associated with 20% reduction in total mortality. According to the study, it boosts heart efficiency and helps manage cardiovascular risk factors. As per the researchers, public health campaigns can emphasise importance of fast walking to improve health outcomes.
