Toll collection through FASTag rose 21% in June to ₹2,576 crore, as states eased movement restrictions amid the drop in COVID-19 cases. National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) officials said that the number of FASTag toll transactions increased to 15.78 crore in June as compared to 11.65 crore in May. Currently, 96% of NHAI tolls are collected through FASTag.
