Nigeria's National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued an alert about Mumbai-based Synercare's paracetamol suspension named Para Clear Suspension 125. The agency said it found ethylene glycol in the product. "Diethylene glycol and ethylene glycol are toxic to humans when consumed and can prove fatal," NAFDAC stated.
