JM Financial's MD Vishal Kampani took over as Group CEO after his father, Nimesh Kampani, the firm's Co-founder, gave up full-time directorship in 2016. Kampani said, "The way my father and I look at things are distinctly different." He said his father felt the CEO should have control of everything, adding, "I think my father is a lot more debt-averse".
