Father-son sailor duo unexpectedly cross paths in middle of ocean

A father and son, both sailors, unexpectedly crossed paths in the middle of the ocean while travelling on separate ships in opposite directions. The son, Rusheel Saran, upon noticing a large ship, checked its details and route and realised his father was on board. A video showed both of them waving at each other while watching through binoculars.
