Father, son who killed black man in US get life sentence for hate crime

The father and son, who killed unarmed black man Ahmaud Arbery in February 2020 in a Georgia neighbourhood, have each received a second life sentence on Monday for committing federal hate crimes. Travis McMichael and his father Greg McMichael were earlier sentenced to life without parole in a state court. Arbery was killed while he was jogging.
