As India works towards the World Health Organisation's goal of eliminating viral hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030, doctors at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, on Tuesday cautioned that viral hepatitis is no longer the country's only major liver health challenge. Instead, fatty liver disease now affects over one-third of the population.
