Major Facebook investors, including public pension funds and state officials, on Wednesday backed a proposal to remove the company's CEO Mark Zuckerberg as Chairman. The proposal, originally made by hedge fund Trillium Asset Management, has asked Facebook’s board to make the role of board chair an independent position. New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer also joined the proposal.
