FDA authorises e-cigarette products for use in the US for the 1st time

The Food and Drug Administration has authorised e-cigarette products for use in the US for the first time ever. It said the vaping device from RJ Reynolds can help smokers cut back on conventional cigarettes. The decision only applies to Vuse's Solo e-cigarette and its tobacco-flavoured nicotine cartridges. The FDA, however, said that people who don't smoke shouldn’t use them.
