FDA seizes banned pan masala, scented tobacco worth ₹2.69 cr in Maha

The Maharashtra FDA seized banned pan masala, flavoured tobacco and other prohibited food products, along with vehicles, worth ₹2.69 crore in raids across Thane and Palghar, officials said. The seizures were made during a special campaign against illegal transportation, storage and sale of such products. Officials seized 27,540 packets each of Premium Raj Niwas Pan Masala and Zafrani Zarda.
