Fred Smith, Founder and Executive Chairman of FedEx Corporation, passed away on Saturday at the age of 80, the company has informed. In a post on the company website, CEO Raj Subramaniam wrote, "It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I share that Frederick W Smith, our founder and executive chairman, died earlier today."
