Actor Nakuul Mehta in an Instagram post shared that he dubbed Ranbir Kapoor's voice in the English version of 'Animal'. He said that working on the film felt "liberating, powerful, painful and never-ending at different points". Nakuul also called Ranbir "one of the finest of our generation". The film earned over ₹900 crore at the worldwide box office.
