Officials of a Puducherry temple found a 70-year-old female beggar having ₹15,000 cash, a bank account with ₹2 lakh to her credit and an Aadhaar card. They discovered this after calling police as she was refusing to move from the spot when the authorities asked her to. She's said to have earned the money by seeking alms from the devotees.
