The female doctor, Srishti Baviskar, who was assaulted by Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre has quit the hospital in Dombivli, Maharashtra, reports said. Her resignation came after her male colleague, Vaibhav Salunkhe, also quit. He also left the city, saying that goons are watching them. Mhatre has been arrested but is hospitalised after he complained of illness.
