FIFA on Tuesday said it signed a sponsorship deal with Crypto.com for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar. "The company will be the exclusive cryptocurrency trading platform sponsor for Qatar 2022," FIFA said. Crypto.com also acquired the naming rights to the Staples Center, home of the Los Angeles Lakers, in a 20-year deal reportedly worth over $700 million.
