Iran's football federation claimed its ticket allocation for fans at FIFA World Cup 2026 has been withdrawn. It said Iranian supporters were left stranded despite making travel plans. Iran will play their first two group games in Los Angeles, against New Zealand on June 15 and Belgium on June 21, and then face Egypt in Seattle on ​June 26.
